Why Your MotoGP Timer Is Wrong (Fix It in Seconds)

Last updated: April 2026

MotoGP lists sessions in track local time. Your reminder app, TV graphic, and Discord ping can all disagree if each uses a different rule. Sync all three with this checklist.

Step 1: World clock = circuit city

Add one phone clock for the venue time zone (not GMT, not your home zone). Until that matches the official PDF timetable, every countdown is guesswork.

Step 2: Name the session on the timer

Label alarms Sprint, Race, FP2—generic “MotoGP” alarms drift when schedules slide for weather or red flags.

Step 3: Budget stream delay

Encode paths add 30–90 seconds. If you text friends at the exact official second, you will sound “early.” Offset once, reuse all season.
